Get Your Coaching Practice Elite and Breaking New Ground
What if you could update your practice with leading-edge, scientifically sound coaching methods that fast track your clients’ successes?
Neuroscience studies the biology of the mind - the brain.
The brain is behind everything we do, every thought and feeling we have, and every decision we make.
Understanding how the brain actually works (not all the myths and hype), helps you and your client to think better, feel more fully, make better decisions and act with wisdom.
We need brain-friendly coaching
YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR COACHING CREATIVE AND INNOVATIVE, DON’T YOU?
Then you need to understand what is behind every word your client says and every action your client makes.
Coaches who don’t, risk losing their credibility in the market.
Neuroscience is advancing quickly and it’s disrupting many standard psychological models.
Coaching is based on psychological models.

You need to know neuroscience - or be left behind.
Without understanding neuroscience, a coach risks applying outdated models.

Neuroscience has added a huge amount to our understanding of the brain and how it works. It provides your practice with:
  •  New perspectives
  •  New tools
  •  And new ideas
But not any old neuroscience. You and I know that as a coach you need neuroscience with two critical qualities:
  •  It must be grounded in the latest research (No more talk of ‘happy hormones’ or ‘left brained’ or ‘right brained’ people.)
  •  It must be of practical use (Knowing the Latin names for the parts of the brain does not help a client.)
You will be a better and a more effective coach, with fresh knowledge that is accurate and practical, and you will improve your practice and your client’s lives.
You can’t afford not to learn all you can about this fascinating area.
Now there is a program that is precisely what you need...
Coaching the Brain
The Neuroscience of Goals
Practical Applications of Neuroscience to Coaching
This course is based on the book that was published by Routledge in 2019 by best selling authors Joseph O’Connor and Andrea Lages.

They have gone through all the research and done all the spade work (so you do not have to), to give you exactly the material you need – no more, no less.

And it is immediately PRACTICAL.
Joseph O'Connor
“Joseph and Andrea pursue brain-based leadership coaching with flair and precision. I highly recommend their book.”

Do I have to be a coach to take this certification?
You do not have to be a professional coach. However, you will need some basic knowledge. Many managers, trainers and consultants have found
tremendous value in this course. This course is not designed to teach the basics of coaching. When you apply, tell us about your coaching experience and training and we will let you know you if this course is right for you.
Do I have to know neuroscience to take this course?
A basic knowledge of the brain is fine. You do not need specialised scientific knowledge or the Latin names of brain structures. The course will cover all you need to know about how the brain works and the principal neurotransmitters. Everything is geared to being useful and practical.
There is so much hype about neuroscience, it can’t live up to its promises.
Neuroscience has much to offer, you’ll be surprised. Though, you’re right. It doesn’t live up to the deceptive and inflated claims made by some people. The problem is in the claims, not in the science.
Surely the brain and mind are different?
Yes, they are. Yet they depend on each other. Think of people like candles – there is the material (wax) and there is the flame. We pay attention to the flame - the aware mind - we are fascinated by the beautiful, luminous glow. but that flame cannot exist without the wax – the material brain - to support it. If you wanted to make the flame, bigger, brighter, stronger, you would have to pay attention to the wax too.
How can knowing about the brain help me with my clients?
Everything your clients do, think, feel and decide is done through the brain. Understanding how the brain actually works (not all the myths and hype), helps you and your client to think better, feel more fully, make better decisions and act with wisdom.
What certification will I get?
On completion of each of the three modules you will receive a Lambent Neuroscience Coaching Certificate. The certificate is given by Lambent UK, a limited Company registered in England and Wales, company with two European Quality Awards for its training, and the creator of the ICC International Coaching Certification. Completion of all three modules carries the International Coaching Community Certification in Neuroscience coaching.
How long will it take?
Each module takes approximately three months to complete. You can take longer if you wish. You are free to set the pace yourself. There is no pressure to finish the courses in a set time. All webinars are recorded so you can catch up in your own time.
What can I do with this skill, knowledge and certificate?
Be a more skillful, knowledgeable coach! And…you will be at the leading edge of coaching. You can expand your reach of clients. If an executive has a choice of a coach and a coach who knows neuroscience, everything being equal, which one will they choose? The one with the extra skill and knowledge in the latest developments wins the client.
Is the course practical – can I go straight out and use what I learn?
Yes! Not only can you do that, but you will do it while you do the course!
I still have questions, how can I get in touch?
If we haven't been able to answer a specific question you have then please contact me at joseph@coachingthebrain.com
